南京市民から歓迎される日本軍
Japanese troops are welcomed by the citizens of Nanjing.



国民党軍の蛮行から逃げていた南京市民は南京陥落後南京に戻ってきました。
Nanking citizens who had fled the barbarism of the Kuomintang forces returned to Nanking after the fall of Nanking.



日本軍の南京入城は1937年12月17日、2週間後のお正月の様子。
Japanese troops entered Nanking on December 17, 1937, two weeks after New Year's Day.

1937年12月22日、中国人は南京自治委員会を成立した。
On December 22, 1937, the Chinese established the Nanjing Autonomous Committee.
自治委員会による警察機能がスタートした。
The police function was initiated by the Autonomy Committee.
南京城内外の治安維持は中国人警察官と日本の憲兵によって行われた。
Security inside and outside Nanjing Castle was maintained by Chinese police officers and Japanese military police.





1938年1月10日、「南京警察庁」が発足。
On January 10, 1938, the "Nanjing Police Department" was established.
中国人による治安維持体制が確立した。
A Chinese security system was established.
